Pro-Palestinian protestors demonstrate outside NYU Tisch Hospital in NYC

Date:

Pro-Palestinian protestors gathered outside of NYU Tisch Hospital on Monday, according to footage published by Within Our Lifetime, the organizers of the demonstration, on their X/Twitter account.

The protesters, including healthcare workers, demanded the release of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, a hospital director in Gaza arrested by the IDF on suspicion of involvement in terrorist activities.

The protesters marched to Union Square, where they announced a fundraiser along with Healthcare Workers for Palestine.

In social media footage of the march, protesters were heard chanting, “Gaza, you make us proud” and, “Say it loud, say it clear, we don’t want no Zionists here.”

Protesters were also seen holding signs that read “Gaza forever,” “Abolish Israel,” and “Right of return.”
