In February, the well-known writer and comic book illustrator Rutu Modan launched her new book, “Tunnels,” in Spain. Modan’s visit to Barcelona and Madrid aroused great media and public interest.
Modan conducted numerous interviews in which she emphasized the efforts she made while writing the book to gain an in-depth knowledge of the world of archaeology and the political interests of Israelis and Palestinians. The point of view she presented in her book was received with great appreciation by the Spanish public.
