The screenings in July collected Middle Upper Arm Circumference measurements among children under five (6-59 months). A 13 percent prevalence reflects Serious/Critical levels of acute malnutrition (10-14.9 percent), which is near the threshold for Critical/Extremely Critical (≥15 percent) levels used to assess if the acute malnutrition criteria for Famine (IPC Phase 5) has been met or surpassed.
